I have kept my Station at Bridewell
this long wth. an intention to
take leave of the Governors when Assembled in a body. being
very desireous of paying that respect to them after the Curlityes
I had received from them for twenty years together But it has so
happened that I am obliged to Quitt the place a Month or Six
weeks sooner than I thought to have done and without being
certain that I shall have a proper Oppertunity of addressing my self
to them from the Pulpit on that occassion I bey you therefore Sr to
intimate my Resignation to them at the next Court & to assure them
that I have a very gratefull Sense of the kindness wth. wch. I have
been all along heated by them and that I shall to the best of my
Power a lwayer shew my selfe a friend to the Hospital Etc
