Atkins Thomas
elected Porters man}


Also upon reading the humble Petition of Thomas Atkins< no role >
Setting forththat bythat by Order of the Comee of this house he
had officiated in the place of Porters man of the said hospital
of Bridewell for about Six Months last past and Nicholas Gething< no role >
the late Portersman haveing at ye Last Court resigned his sd
Office the Petr. therefore prayed to be Elected Porters man in
the room of the said Nicholas Gething< no role > And upon the question
being putt It planily appeared that the sd. Thomas Atkins< no role > is
duely Elected Porters man Whereupon It is Ordered
by this Court That the said Thomas Atkins< no role > upon his giveing
Security to be approved of by the Comee of this house be
admitted Portersman of the said hospital of Bridewell
dureing the pleasure of this Court and that he shall from
Midsumer day last past have receive and take the usuall
Salary and profitts thereto belonging and the use of the
roomes wherein the porters man hath formerly inhabited

Also upon reading the humble Petition of Ann Deane< no role > widdow
Kehit and Sole Executrix and residuary Legatee of Robt. Deane< no role >
late of the parish of St. Martins in the feilds in the County of
Middx Pewterer deced Setting forth That by an Order
of this Court made the 22d. day of March 1709/10 the Petrs.
Said husband was to have a Lease of a house at Chareing
Cross belonging to the hospital of Bethlem then in his possion
(and which sd Robert Filmer< no role > held by Lease from the said
hospital which expired at Lady day then next) for the Terme
of 18 yeares to Comence from Lady day then next at ye yearly
rent of £20. and to pay £80. fine & to lay out in necessary
repaires of the sd house £45.10.6 & the sd. repaires were
done accordingly but the Petr. said husband dyed before the sd
Lease was executed haveing made his Will and the Petr his
Sole Executrix and residuary Legatee and praying That a
a Lease of ye sd house may be made to hers she executeing a Com [..] pt there of for ye same
Terme & under ye same rent & Covents as [..] sd husband was to have had ye same It is
Ordered that a Lease thereof made to her accordingly
