Upon Reading to this Court the Peticon of Wm Smith< no role > :
Hempdresser who for many years past hath been an arts mar
in this Hospll and being now near 70 years of age and unable to
undergo the trouble of that place and praying that he may be
discharged from the same This Court declared their consent that
the said Wm Smith< no role > should from hence forth be excused from any
further attendance and that a Surrender of his Place of an
Arts mar be accordingly accepted And It is further Ordered that
this Court do proceed to the Election of another Arts master
in the roome of the said Mr Smith at the next Court to be
holden for the said Hosplls: and that Mr Crakenthorp who now lives in ye: House do supply
the vacancy in the meane time.

Also upon the humble Peticon of Samuell Wood< no role > Weaver
who was brought up an apprentice with Gabriell Bestman< no role > weaver
One of the Artsmasters of Bridewell Hospitall and Since made a
Freeman of this City by the approbacon of this Court and is sett
up for himselfe in his trade of a Weaver as he alleadgeth at
the house of Mr Casey in Brownes lane in Spittlefeilds , for
some part of Mr Locks guift It is Ordered by this Court That
Mr Furniss Mr Fra: Smith< no role > Mr Harriot and Mr Lawrence 4
of the Governors of these Hosplls or any two of them be desired
to make enquiry of the said Samll Wood whether he be so sett
up for himselfe in his said trade and of his hopefullness therein
and to make report thereof to this Court.

was brought up an apprentice wth Benja Harrison< no role > Weaver out
of the Artsmars of Bridewell Hospll and since made a Freeman of this
City by the approbacon of this Court and is sett up for himslefe in
his trade of a Weaver as he alleadgeth at his own house in Bridewell
Precinct for some part of Mr Locks guift It is Ordered by this Court
That Mr Hals Mr Bull Major Hulls Mr Shepherd and Mr.
Pistor five of the Governors of these Hosplls or any two of them
be desires to make enquiry of the said Wm Denton whether he
be so sett up for himselfe in his said trade of a Weaver and of his
hopefullness therein and to make Report thereof of this Court.

the approbacon of this Court and is sett up for himselfe in his trade of a
alleadgeth It is Ordered by this Court That Mr Furnis Mr Fra: Smith< no role > Mr Hannet
& Mr Lawrence four of the Govrs of these Hosplls [..] or any two of them be
desired to make enquiry of the sd Humphry Muggleston whether he be so sett
up for himselfe in his said trade and of his hopefullness therein and to
made report thereof to the next Court.
