Lease of Bethlem
Warehouses to Mr Smith.


Upon Reading to this Court the Report of a Comtee:
of the Hospll: of Bethlem relateing to the Warehouses under
Bethlem late in the possession of Sr Richard Levett< no role > The purport
of which was That the warehouses being by the Hospll to be
putt into such repaire as Sr Richd Levett< no role > desired The said Comtee:
Insisted on £100 P annu wch Sr Richd absolutely refused to give
And thereupon the said Comittee had treated with one Mr Gabl.
Smith
< no role > who offering £80 P annu: for the said ware houses when
substantially repaired and to take a lease for seaven years
at that rent The said Comtee submitted the same to the Court
whether the said warehouses should be Lett to the said Mr
Smith upon the sd termes or not Whereupon It is Ordered that
the Clerk of these Hosplls: do Imediately wait on Sr Richd
Levett
< no role > for the keys of the sd ware houses And that the said Mr
Gabll Smith be desired to meet the Comtee: to morrow att
Bethlem Hospll and the Comtee are hereby Impowered to
make an absolute barganie for the sd warehouses with the
said Mr Smith or any other on such Termes as they shall
think reasonable.

Also Upon Reading to this Court the Report of Mr Bull
and Mr Halse That upon enquiry they do Find That Tho: Boulter< no role >
is sett up for himselfe in his trade of a Weaver at Mr Clarkes
an Upholsterer in Greens Rents in Bridelane and hath the
character of a sober man and a good husband It is Ordered
by this Court That Mr Trear do give and pay unto him ten
pounds of the profitts of Mr Locks guift to be allowed Mr
Trear in his next accompt.

That John Crowder< no role > is sett up for himselfe in his trade of a
Weaver att the house of Mr Purse Weaver over against the
Blew Last in Lamb Alley wthout Bishopsgate and hath the
character of an honest and Industrious man It is Ordered by
this Court That Mr Trear do give and pay unto him ten pounds
of the profitts of Mr Locks guift to be allowed Mr Trear in his next
accompt.
