Also This Court being Informed That the Accompts of these
Hospll. to Michas last have beene made up some time since
but that some doubts are seing thereupon as to some particular
therein contained wch: cannot by the generall booke of account
be Cleared And Madam Baker the widow and Adminrd: of Daniel
Baker
< no role > Esqr . deced late Trear of these Hosplls. being Desired to produce
and deliver a Copy of her said late Husbands Book of all his
Receipts and payments concerning the said Hosplls: wch: was kept
by himselfe In order to be perused by the Auditor Generall of these
Hosplls. for the better clearing thereof she refused soe to doe or to
give a copy thereof And further that the said Madam Baker
demanded the Sume of Seaven hundred pounds said to be deposited
in the Chest at Bridewell hospll by her said late Husband as his
owne money and now due to her as his Adminrx. the upon Receipt
there of she refused to deliver up the Keys of the said Chest to the
prsent Trear of the said Hospll: together with such as she has in
her Custody belonging to the sd. hosplls. It is Ordered by this Court
That a bill in Chancery be forthwth. Exhibited agst. the Sd. Madam
Baker to oblige her to produce or deliver a Copy of the booke of
Accompts before monconed And also for an Accompts of all other
matters whatsoever which any ways relate to the Office of
her said late Husband as Trear of the said Hosplls And that
in the said bill she be charged wth. the ballance of the Accompts
made up at Michal 1698 At wch: time the said Mr. Baker was
prsent and acknowledged the same which said Bill before the
same be Exhibited shall be perused and Exained by the Andr:
Generall and other she Auditors of the Accounte of the said
Hosplls. And It is further Ordered That the Clerk of these Hosplls.
shall not permitt the said Madam Baker to take and receive
the said Sume of £700: by her demanded as aforesaid out of
the said hosplls. Chest without the directors of this Court And the
in case any Accon shall be brought agst. him for refusall thereof
He shall be Indempnifyed for his soe doeing by this Court
