Also Upon the humble Petition of Bridgett Tookie< no role > widow
and Relief of Thomas Tookie< no role > who was Beadle and Scholemat
of Bridewell Hospll. about 12 yeares and dyed about Eight
yeares aged learning the petr. nothing in the world towards
her Support but wt. she could Earne by her own hard Labor
whereby she has since that time wth. great Difficulty made
Shift to gett a poor Lively hood but now being near 60 years
of age is altogether unable to gett her maintenance as
formerly and having not Friends in the world to apply to
for Releife humbly prayed the Charitable Considercon of
this Court in Such measure as to them Should Seeme meet
This Court being satisfyed of the truth of the matter
of the sd. Petition and of the poore condicon of the petr.
Doe think fitt and soe Order That Mr. Trear doe Give and
pay unto her Five pounds to be Allowed Mr. Trear in his
next Accompt

& Mr. Keble (two of the Governors of these Hospll) That upon
Enquiry they doe Find That Nathan Holmes< no role > who was
brought up an Apprentice with Samll; Jexter< no role > weaver one of
the Artsmars: of Bridewell hospll. and since made a Freeman
of this Citty by ye. Approbacon of this Court is Sett up for
himselfe in his Trade of a Weaver in a Court be hand the
Fountaine a Cooks Shopp in Chancery Lane and hath one
Loome of his Owne and hath the Reputation of being a
very sober Dilligent person Itt is Ordered by this Court
That Mr. Trear doe give and pay unto him Tenn pounds
of the Profitts of Mr. Locks gift the better to Enable him to
manage his said trade to be Allowed Mr. Trear in his next
accompt
