Upon the humble Petition of Richard Pearce< no role > gentln: For a New
Lease of a Bro [..] house wharfes Lanch 12 ounces and other houses
at Wapp in The same being by length of time soe decayed very
ruinous and out of repaire in the Foundations and other parts
thereof that they must be speedily new built or else they will
fall downe And the Petr. being willing on Such new Lease to
Rebuild and amend the Same and alsoe to Surrender his old
Lease in which he has about Fifteene yeares to come upon Such
Termes as the said Petr. and this Court can Agree Whereupon
It is Ordered by this Court That it be, and it hereby is Referred
to Mr. Trear John Turvin< no role > Esqr. Mr. Depty. Fazakerley Mr Greene
Capt. Owting Mr. Halse Mr. Warburton Mr. Roydhouse and Mr. Boultby
Governors of these Hosplls: or any Five of them to view the said
Prmisses and Consider of the matter of the said Petition and what
a New Lease thereof may be worth And also to [..] heare
the Petrs: proposalls upon Surrendering the Old Lease Adding
a further Terme and New building the prmisses (or Such part
thereof as Occasion shall Require) And to Report their Opinion
therein to this Court.

Also It is further Ordered by this Court That the Clerke of
these Hosplls. shall receive the Rents due from the Tennants
of Mr. John Young< no role > for severall houses and Tenements in
wappin wch. were mortgaged to the Hospll. of Bridewell for
the Sume of One Thousand pounds and since come to the
possession of the Governrs. thereof And that the Ground rent
now in arreare shall be first discharged And that the Remder
shall be Accounted for as part of the Interest money due
for the sd. Sume of One Thousand pounds And It is further
Ordered That it be Referred to the Comittee aforesaid to
Consider what may be most proper for the Benefitt of the sd
Hospll. to be done wth. the said Mortgaged prmisses whether
to Lett the same as they now are or to Sell the Same for the best
price that can be gott there for or how otherwise to Dispose
thereof And to Report their Opinion touching the whole
matter thereof to this Court.

Also upon the humble Petition of the Four Beadles & porters man of the
hospll. of Bridewell for their usuall Gratuityes of Twenty Shillings a peice in
respect of the halfe yeare Ending at Michas last and alsoe for twenty Shillings a
peice more For yt. all manner of provissions Continue very deare & they have
all Familyes to maintaine This Court upon Consideracon of the prmrs. doth
think fitt and Soe Order That Mr. Trear doe give and pay unto them twenty
Shillings a peice for their Usuall Gratuitys and alsoe for this halfe yeare
twenty Shillings a peice more in respect of the dearness of all manner of
provisions to be allowed Mr. Trear in his next Accompt.
