Also Upon the humble Petition of John Norton< no role > Citizen and
weaver of London who was brought up apprentice wth John
Sympson
< no role > late one of the Artsmars. of Bridewell hospll. and
since made a Freeman of this Citty by the Approbacon of
this Court and is Sett up for himselfe in his Said trade of
a weaver (as he Alleadgeth) at the House of Mrs. Norton in
Grays Inn Lane For some Part of Mr Locks gift the better
to Enable him to Manage his Said trade Itt is Ordered by
this Court That Mr. Bromfield Mr. Beckingham Capt.
Phillips and Mr. Greene Four of the Governors of these hosplls
or any two of them be Desired to make Enquiry of the Said
John Norton< no role > whether he be Soe Sett up in his Said trade &
of his Hopefullness therein and to make Report thereof to
the next Court

Also Upon the severall humble Petitions of William
Scott
< no role > who was brought up Apprentice wth. Danll Nipp< no role > the Elder
weaver and John Greenwood< no role > who was brought up Apprentice
wth. Phillip Baron< no role > Glover two of the Artsmars : of Bridewell
hospll. and Since made Freeman of this Citty by the approbacon
of this Court and Sett up for themselves in their Severall
trades (as they Alleadge) Vizt. the Said Scott at the house of
Abraham Eagles< no role > in Huswifes Alley in Old Bethlem and
the said Greenwood at the House of Mr. Emery a Shoemakr
in Pearle Street in Spittle Fields For some Part of Mr. Locks
gift the better to Enable there to carry on their Said
Trade It is Ordered by this Court That Andrew Willaw< no role > &
John Drigue< no role > Esqrs : Mr. Depty. Coles & Mr. Fras Smith< no role > Foure
of the Governrs . of these Hosplls. or any two of them be
desired to make Enquiry of the Said William Scott< no role > & John
Greenwood

Trades of their Hopefullness therein and to make Report
thereof to the next Court.
