Shewing that She was Matron
of the Hosptl. for Bridewell
for Seaven yeares
and was in the yeare 1688 discharged from her said Office Since which
she has been maintained by her Daughter Severall Yeares who being
reduced to a poore condicon and the Petr. haveing been some time since by
the Justices of this Citty Ordered to the precinct of Bridewell
as the last
place of her Legall abode The Petr. did two Severall times Implore the charity
of this Court whereupon 40s. was each time ordered to be paid the petr.
by 2s. a week towards her support The last of wth allowance has beene
runn out abot. two moneths and the petrs: necessityes being the same as
before & she being 75 yeares of age & in a very miserable & weake condicon
Humbly praying therefore such further Releife for the small remainder
of her days as this Court in Charity shall think fitt Itt is Ordred
That Mr. Trear doe Give and pay unto her 40s: by 2s. a week every
Munday to comence from Lady day last To be allowed Mr. Trear in his
next Account.

Also Upon the humble peticon of ye Four Beadles and porters man of the
Hospll.of Bridewell
for their usuall Gratuities of twenty shillings a pence in
respect of the Halfe Yeare Ending at Lady day last and alsoe for twenty
Shillings a peice more for that all manner of provissions continue very
deare and they have all Familyes to maintaine This Court upon
Consideracon of the prmises. Doth think fitt and Soe order That Mr.
Trear doe give and pay unto them twenty shillings a peice for their
usuall Gratuities and also for this halfe yeare twenty shillings a peice
more in respect of the dearness of all manner of provisions To be
allowed Mr. Trear in is next Account

pay unto each of them twenty shillings to be allowed Mr. Trear in his
next account.
