hath two Looms of his own with worke therein of his
own and that he hath a Red and other necessaries and
has a good repute among his neighbours It is Ordered
by this Court That Mr. Trear Baker doe give and pay
unto him Tenne pounds out of the profitts of Mr. Locks
Gift the better to enable him to manage his Said Trade
to be allowed Mr. Trear in his next Account.

Also upon reading the Certificate of the aforesaid
Mr. Willow and Mr. Drigue That they made Inquiry
concerning Edward Lewis< no role > late an Apprentice of this
Hospll. pursuant to an Ordr. of this Court and found that
he is Sett up for himselfe and worketh on his own worke
but that he told them his Father left him Eighty pounds
in money of wch. he had recd thirty pounds and could have
the other fifty pounds when he would and that he had
besides TwoOnehundred pounds in Bonds wch. would be
willing to take One hundred pounds for: And the said
Edward Lewis< no role > acquainting this Court That he had
Severall Brothers and Sisters to provide for and that
but Small part of the Said money would come to his
Share It is referred back to the Said Mr. Willaw and
Mr. Drigue to examine and booke into the Prmisses and
to report the same agen to this Court after wch. This
Court will take the Peticon of the said Edward Lewis< no role >
for Some party of Mr. Locks gift into further Considercon
