I am prevailed upon to write
to you, in behalfe of the Bearer Judith

who stands Indicted for Per jury
at the Complaint of One Thomas Charlesworth< no role >
,
who abt: Three Years ago was Convicted
in the Kings Bench, and stood in the Pillory
for Forgery. Ipresume you may
have heard of his Character, The said
Wright lives not farr from me, has
severall Children, and is very poor, and
I beleive has suffered great Handships
by the said Charlsworth. What is desired,
is a Remittance of her Fees, I am
Ashamed to trouble you upon this
Occassion, but was Convicted you will
be as ready to Extend your Compassion
to a real Object, as I am to ask it, Your
Favour in this Matter will allways be
