The Informations of Havaland
Le Memrier of the Island of Guornsey
Merchant and the Reverend John Auddine< no role > of
Charmouth in the County of Dorset Clock taken
before me this twentieth day of January 1787 .

Who being on Oath severally say and first the
said Havaland Le Momrier for himself Says
that last Night about eleven o'Clock at the
Breaking up of the Play at Drury Lane theatre
at this Informant was coming along the Lobby
having in his Right Hand Breeches Pocket a
Striped Silk Purse containing twenty three
Guineas and a half he fell some Person drawing
his said Purse out when he seized a Mans Hand
close to his said Pocket and it appeared to be the
Hand of a Person whom he hath since been informed
is George Barrington< no role > This name instance is in set 525. that when he seized
said Barrington 's Hand with his Right Hand he
seized said Barrington 's Porson with his left Hand
and struggled with him supposing him to have
his Purse in his Right Hand And further Says
he verily believes and suspects that said Person
whom he hath since been informed is George
Barrington
< no role > with his Right Hand feloniously
stole this Informants Purse and Money as aforesaid
and which Purse and Money was delivered to this
Informant by a Gentleman who stood near
And the said John Audaine< no role > for himself Says
that he was close by said Mr. Le Meswrier at
this time when this Informant observed a Porson
who stood close behind Mr. Le Meswrier and
whom he hath since been informed is George
Barrington
< no role > snatch at said Mr. Le Meswrier's
Watch with his Right Hand That in a second or two
