Who being on Oath say and first the said John Bagshaw< no role >
says that about ¼ past 5 o'Clock this Evening as he this
Informant was going into the Pit at Drury Lane Theatre
in the Passage of which he thought he felt a hand at his breeches
pocket he immediately put his hand to his pocket when he found
his Watch had been Stolen, Informant immediately turned his
head when he saw a person now present who calls himself

near him, [..] that he immediately followed and
SW. Charged him with having taken his Watch that said Barrington
SW. then held out his hand as in the Act of delivering Somethingsonanother Person who was near
him when a Scuffle ensued between Informant and said
Barrington and Informant's Watch fell on the Ground, when
Informant Picked it up and [..] laid hold of said Barrington
SW. And Informant further says that he is Sure that said Barrington is
the Person that Stole his Watch as aforesaid, And the said
Vincent Francis Rivar< no role >
says that he was in company with
said Bagshaw at that time, and heard him Say to a Person
SW. [..] he then had hold of (where this Informant verily believes to be
said Barrington)" Sir you have got my Watch" at which time
he heard something fall on the ground which proved to be said
Bagshaw Watch.
