mentioned were Reffered.

Whereas att the General Quarter Sessions of the peace held for this
City & Liberty at Westmr. Hall on Thursday the 25th. Day of June

James Raynolds< no role > Shop keepers Tradesmen and other Inhabitants
in the in Parish of St. Martin in the Feilds in this Liberty by their
Petitioner to this Court did Sett forth. Mat severall Persons of most
notorious Characters & Informously Wicked lives and Conversations
have of late Years taken up and came particularly at that time
to the up their Residence in the sd. Parish and that there are Several
Streets and little Courts as Russell Street Drury Lane Crown Court and
Kings Court and diverse places within the sd. Parish & more particularly
in the Neighbourhood of Drury Lane infested with such vite People
That there are frequent Out crys In the Night fighting Robberies &
all Sorts of Debanchery Committed by them al Night long to the Great
Inquietude of his Majties Good Subjects and more Especially the Petitionrs.
who Inhabit in or near the aforesd. Places & their the Petionrs. Shou'd be
Obliged to their Great Damage to quit their Respective habitations
for the Sake of their Own quiet & to prvent their Children & Servants
being Corrupted by these wicked Wretches if some Speedy means
therefore prayed that this Court would be pleased to take the prmisses into
their Consideration & to provide such speedy and Effectuall means
for the Exterpation of such a Deadly Mischief as to this Court Should
Seem meet, Upon Consideration of wch. Petition the Court did by
An Order of the sd. Sessions recommand & refer it to us and others
