were then severally read Praying to<lb></lb>
be elected Surgeon to this Hospital after which<lb></lb>
different Governors acquainted the Court that<lb></lb>
they had authority from Mr. Buckle Mr.<lb></lb>
Forster Mr. Massie Mr. Smith and Mr.<lb></lb>
Whitfield to with draw their Petitions they<lb></lb>
being unwilling to trouble the Court with<lb></lb>
Balloting for them at this time. in hope of<lb></lb>
their favor on a future occasion.</p>

with drawn accordingly and Mr. Cline being<lb></lb>
then the only Candidate was unanimously<lb></lb>
chosen Surgeon of this Hospital during the<lb></lb>
pleasure of this Court and he was called<lb></lb>
in and acquainted with his Election.</p>
