<p n="249">The Committee of Governors of this Hospital constituted by an Order of the last General<lb></lb>
Court of Governors thereof holden the Tenth day of December last Ano. Din 1683<lb></lb>
Authorized to inspect the State of this Hospital, and to Examine and Audit the Accompts<lb></lb>
thereof, and Generally to do and Execute all and every Such matters and things<lb></lb>
relating to the Same, as they Should thinke meet, for the Service & benefitt of the<lb></lb>
Said Hospital, Haveing, pursuant to the Said Order, Reported to this Court their<lb></lb>
proceedings in the prmisses, This Court Conserved in Opinion with the Committee<lb></lb>
in every Pticular thereof Confirmed what the Said Committee had done<lb></lb>
therein, And haveing thanked the Committee for the great paines and care they<lb></lb>
had taker to promote the pious Ends of that Royal Bounty which founded<lb></lb>
this Hospital, accordingly Order'd Resolved & agreed as followeth (Vizt)</p>

That from Michaelmas next this House shall at the charge thereof provide all<lb></lb>
Druggs, Herbs, and other things, needfull for the Composicon of all Physick to be<lb></lb>
Administered to the Patients of this Hospital and will allow the Apothecary Fifty<lb></lb>
pounds P Annu, payable quarterly by equall porcons, and no more, for his<lb></lb>
paines in Compounding the Same.</p>

That from the first day of June, to the first day of September in every<lb></lb>
yeare, the customary allowance of Beer to the Patients of this House, be Encreased<lb></lb>
one full third part, and that accordingly, dureing that Space of time the Butler<lb></lb>
of this House Shall attend them therewith three times aday.</p>

That for the better and move Speedy affecting the cure of old and<lb></lb>
inveterate Sores and Ulcers (whether Occasioned by the Fowle Disease or<lb></lb>
otherwise) Two Wards to wit one for oath Sex be sett apart and with all<lb></lb>
convenient Speed fitted for the fluxing Such of the Patients of this House<lb></lb>
as shall Stand in need of that Operation, as also that two Dyett drinke<lb></lb>
Wards, with hot houses, be forthwith provided; But that none of the<lb></lb>

Pcell of the Said demised prmisses and other ground of the said Hospital<lb></lb>
Comonly made use of for a burying place, from which it is or lately was<lb></lb>
divided by a pale, The Committee (after a View by them had of the prmisses<lb></lb>
came to the following agreement with the Said Mr Bland concerning the Same,<lb></lb>
to witt, that the Said Mr Bland his Executed or Admstrator shall forthwith<lb></lb>
pay Fourscore pounds to this Hospital, and grant and assigne over to Such<lb></lb>
Pson or Psons as the Governors of this Hospital shall nominate, in trust<lb></lb>
for this Hospital, all the Said Messuage, with the applenances in the Occupacon<lb></lb>
of the said Mr Watts, and the Said went Issueing out thereof as aforesaid<lb></lb>
and all his Said Terme interest and revercon in the Same with fitting<lb></lb>
Covenants for Secureing the Enjoyment thereof accordingly free</p>
