<p n="112"> the Expence this County hath been put to<lb></lb>
on that Account.</p>
<p n="113">And your Committee are of Opi-<lb></lb>
nion, that for want of a proper and regular<lb></lb>
Method in laying before this Court an an-<lb></lb>
nual Account of the Expence this County<lb></lb>
had been put to on the Article of Vagabonds<lb></lb>
many Irregularities have arisen and passed<lb></lb>
unobserved to the great Detriment of the<lb></lb>
County, to prevent which Inconvenience for<lb></lb>
the future, and to render the passing of Ac-<lb></lb>
counts of Vagabonds more certain and more<lb></lb>
easy to the Magistrates, your Committee<lb></lb>
recommended the following Method to the<lb></lb>
Court.</p>
<p n="114">That the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50463_occ25">Treasurer</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50463_occ25" type="occupation" value="Treasurer"></interp>
of this County<lb></lb>
do provide a proper Book, and from Michael-<lb></lb>
mas Day last, enter therein Abstracts of all<lb></lb>
Orders or Certificates for conveying Vaga-<lb></lb>
bonds from and through this County, num-<lb></lb>
bering the said Orders or Certificates dated<lb></lb>
from that Time, and entering such Numbers<lb></lb>
in the said Book, distinguishing the Place<lb></lb>
where such Vagabonds were conveyed to<lb></lb>
the<obscured></obscured>
of the Order or Certificate, the<lb></lb>
Money ordered, and the Name of the Ma-<lb></lb>
gistrate who signed such Order or Certificate.</p>
<p n="115">That in the said Book be in the like<lb></lb>
Manner entered seperately all such Orders as<lb></lb>
shall be issued for paying Rewards to the<lb></lb>
Apprehenders of Vagabonds, distinguishing<lb></lb>
them</p>
<p n="116">them into Numbers as aforesaid, together<lb></lb>
with the Names of the several Vagabonds,<lb></lb>
the Persons Names to whom they are pay-<lb></lb>
able, the Money ordered, the Date and the<lb></lb>
Magistrate's Names by whom the Orders are<lb></lb>
signed.</p>
<p n="117">That the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50463_occ26">High Constables</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50463_occ26" type="occupation" value="High Constables"></interp>
of this<lb></lb>
County do give their respective Petty Con-<lb></lb>
stables Notice, that for the future they are<lb></lb>
to deliver to the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50463_occ27">Treasurer</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50463_occ27" type="occupation" value="Treasurer"></interp>
of this County<lb></lb>
all such Orders for conveying Vagabonds,<lb></lb>
and Orders forwards as shall be in their<lb></lb>
Hands twice every Year at least that is to<lb></lb>
say at the Quarter Sessions in April, and<lb></lb>
October and that the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50463_occ28">High Constables</rs>
<interp inst="LMSMPS50463_occ28" type="occupation" value="High Constables"></interp>
and<lb></lb>
Contractors do the same, and that the Trea-<lb></lb>
surer do not receive into his Account any<lb></lb>
Orders not delivered in the Time above-<lb></lb>
mentioned without special Direction of the<lb></lb>
Court.</p>
<p n="118">That the said Account be finally<lb></lb>
closed on Michaelmas Day next, and an Ab-<lb></lb>
stract thereof be presented by the <rs type="occupation" id="LMSMPS50463_occ29">Treasurer</rs>

on the County Day in December Sessions,<lb></lb>
distinguishing the Number of Orders of Con-<lb></lb>
veying and Orders for Rewards<obscured></obscured>

every Magistrate, and the Gross sum such<lb></lb>
Orders amount to.</p>
<p n="119">That upon passing the Treasurer's Ac-<lb></lb>
count in respect to Vagabonds, the several<lb></lb>
Orders be checked with their Entry in the<lb></lb>
