as heretofore in the Certificate to mention only an Allowance<lb></lb>

Subsistance according to the sd. Proposal<lb></lb>
and the Keeper of Bridewell is to allow such Vagabonds<lb></lb>
two pence a day for their maintenance during their continuance there, & is to<lb></lb>
produce at every Sessions his Account of such Vagabonds<lb></lb>
& the Expence of<del>keeping</del>
maintaining them according to<lb></lb>
such Allowance of 2d. a day during their continuance in <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50463_geo22">Bridewell</rs>

And this Court being of Opinion that<del>the Assigning ten<lb></lb>
shillings</del>
The reward of Ten shillgs for the apprehending every Vagrant Beggar<lb></lb>
(especially in London & the Parishes next adjoining) is more<lb></lb>
than adequate to the time & trouble of the Apprehender,<lb></lb>
& which has created Frauds, & brought a heavy Expence,<lb></lb>
upon the County, doth therefore recommend<del>it</del>
to the said<lb></lb>
Justices to case the County in this respect by a frugal<lb></lb>
distribution of such Reward, & to proportion it only to the<lb></lb>
time & trouble such Apprehender may have</p>
<p n="18">And it is farther recommended by this Court to the said<lb></lb>
Justices not to sign any Vagrant Pass<del>untill</del>
without Oath<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
first made<lb></lb>
before them, or the confession of the Party, that an Act of<lb></lb>
Vagrancy hath been committed, and upon such Proof if the<lb></lb>
Party so accused be a Sherdy Beggar or shall appear to be a counterfeit</p>
