Hatton Garden, and Ely Rents , In the Parish of St Andrew Holborne
in the County of Middsx , And the Churchwardens and Overseers of ye Poor
If the Parish of Langley In the County of Bucks , Or to any or either of
them

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffron hill, Hotton Garden, and Ely Rents In the
Parish of St Andrew Holborne In the County of Middsx, unto us whose hands
and Saels are here unto sett, Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace (Quorn
unus) for the County aforesaid That One John Coverly< no role > is Lately Intend [..]
and come into yr said Liberty and Parish aforesaid there to Inhabit as a
Parishioner Contrary to the Laws relateing to the Settlement of ye Poor, and
is there Liberty to become Chargeable If not Timely Prvented And Whereas
upon due Examinacon and Enquery made into the Prmisses upon the
Oath of Jane Coverly< no role > Mother to the said John Coverly< no role > , Appears unto
us, and we accordingly adjudge,That the said John Coverly< no role > is Likely to
term Chargeable unto the said Liberty and Parish aforesaid, and that
the Last Legall plane of Settlement of the Said John Coverly< no role > , was in
the Parish of Langley in the County of Bucks , where he Served the four
Last years of his Apprenticeshipe with One Peter Haywood< no role > Taylor ,
and never gained any Subsequent Settlement Else where, and wether
by Law he ought to be Sent

These are therfore in his Majesties name to Order and Rey [..] you the said
Churchwarden, and Overseers of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffron hill, Hatton
Garden, and Ely Rents, In the Parish of St Andrew Holborne In Juy County
of Middsx aforesaid, That you, or some of you, do forthwith Remove, and
Convey the Said John Coverly< no role > out and from your Liberty and Parish
aforesaid, To the said Parish of Langley in the County of Bucks
and him deliver to the Churchwardens and Overseersof the Poor there
or some or One of them, together with this our warrant or Order, or a
True Cossy here of, where by they are Likewise required in his Majesties
came, and by Virlae of the Statutes in Such Case made, forthwith
to Re [..] the said John Coverly< no role > into their said Parish of Langley
In the County of Bucks, aforesaid, and Provide for him as their own
Parishioner-Given under An hands and seals This Twenty fifth day
of September Anno Reyni Dom: nortri Georgij Semrei Dei gratia,
nunc Maynd Britanie Regis &: Quinto Anno yr Dom: 1731
