The Deposition of Susanna Collett < no role > Singlewoman
touching the Death of James Jolly< no role > taken Oath this Sixteenth
day of December 1755.

Who saith that on Sunday the 7th. Instant the about
Three or four oClock in the afternoon the deced came into their
Informants Mistresses House inHouse of Wm Matthews< no role >
andat the Angel and Crown in St Martins Lane and upon
his making a great Noise (being Summingly in Liquor) her
Mistress Eleanor Matthews< no role > came down Stairs and opening
She Door led him out. Saying her Husband was Dying upon
which the deced Damn'd him & Said his Soul was in Hell
& that in going out, Down the Step he fell down & Cut his hand
That the next Morning he returnd again on to their House
and told Mr Matthews he had got a Plaister, and that she
Should pay for it and upon her saying She would he went away &
this Deponent never saw him afterwards
