This Indenture made the last day of August Anna Din 1669 And in the one & twentieth
Yeard of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lord King Charles the second over England & Between
Thomas Harris< no role > cittizen and Cordioezer of London, and Elizabeth< no role > his wife and John Alsop< no role > Soirven
and Francis Drink water< no role > I never cittizens of London churchwardens of the parish of st Dionys
Backchurch London, and found Dionys one of the poor Eildson brought & at the charge of the Sand
pish of the one part and Richard Bennion< no role > cittizen, and Clothworker of London & Mary< no role > & is
wife of the other part Whereas by Indenture dated the eighteenth day of June Anns Din 1666 the
Said Churchward and the Overseers for the poore of the Said Parish with the consent of the Said
found Dionys Did by vertue of the Out of parliament made in three & fortieth & saw of the reigne
of the late Queens Elizabeth intituled An Art for the releife of the poore sutt forty the Said
foune Dionys apprentice to the Said Thomas Harris< no role > and Elizabeth & is wife to Edward Semp Stay
and other house wifery and with them after the manner of an apprentice to dwell and Sevr. from the
twentieth day of the then present fune into the full end and terme of Seaven peaces from them
next ensuring and fully to bee compleate & ended As by the Said Indenture Signed also by the Said
foane Disnys, and assented unto by 8s Richard Brown< no role > Aldeman of the ward of Langboune London
more at large appeareth & Now this Indenture witnesseth That the said Thomas Harris< no role > and Elizabeth< no role >
his wife (with the consent & good heing of the said Churchwardens and of the Said Appentice testi-
fied by the in Signing and Sealing one part of these present) have assigned and Sett over and by
these presents did fully and absolutely assigns and Sett over into the Said Richard Bennion< no role > & Mary< no role > his
wife their executer admr. and assignes, the Said Indenture of apprenticehood, and the Sewn
therein agreed to bee done and performed by the Said foane Dionys for & during the residue now
to come of the Said teams of Seaven Yeares therein limitted And all the right title interest prop [..]
perty clayme & demand whatsoever of them the Said Thomas Harris< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > his wife of
in & to the Said Joane Disnys< no role > and her Service dureing the residue now to come of the Said teams
of Seaven yeares by four & vertue of the Said writed Indenture or otherwise howsoever And
the said Joane Dionys< no role > doth thereby agree and bind oblige himself to Serve the Said Richard
Bennion and and Mary his wife after the manners of an apprentice for & dureing the rest and
residue now to time and unexpired of the Said terme of Seaven Yeares in the Said Indenture of
apprenticehood memoned and limitted. And the said Richard Bennion< no role > and Mary< no role > his wife for
themselves and either of them their executors and adud Strators for every of them doe rooe
nant promise and grant to and with the Said John Alsop< no role > and Francis Drink water< no role > their
executors & admr. and to and with the Said Joane Dionys< no role > and the Said Thomas Harris< no role > & Elizabeth< no role >
his wife & every of them by these presents That they the Said Richard Bennion< no role > & Mary his< no role >
wife then executors or admd or Some or one of them Shall teach & instruct or range to bee taught
and instructed the Said Joane Dionys< no role > after the best manner & means they may or ran in the
Said and of 8s empstry & house wifery and Shall find and provide into the Said Joane Dionys< no role >
competent and Sufficient meate drink apparrell lodging and all other necessaries both in Silk
nes and in health during the residue now to come of the Said terme of Seaven Yeares In witness
whereof the Said pties to these present Indres Interchangeably have Sett their & and & Peales
