that this Precinct Meeting was Summoned pursuant to publick
Notice given in the Church for the choice of Ward Officers for
the year ensuing vizt. Constables Scavengers and Inquest Men

first in Nomination was put up to serve the Offices of Constable
and Scavenger for the year ensuing and chose

up to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger and Inquest Man
for the Year ensuing and chose

severally put up, and Ordered to be returned to the Wardmote
for Collectors of the Lamp tax for the year ensuing

for Common Council Men for the Year ensuing
Fine for
Ward Offices
A Complaint being afterwards made by Mr Henry
Newton that the Fine for Ward Offices were too high and ought
to be lowered It was thereupon Moved that an Order made at
a Precinct Meeting the 5th. day of September 1754 for Raising the
Ward Fines from £12 to £20 be now Read and the same was
read accordingly

of the 5th: of september 1754 be new Discharged, and being Seconded
the Question was put on the said Motion and past in the
Affirmative
