An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the king at London, that is to say, at the Parish of Saint
Mary-Staining in the Ward of Aldersgate in London aforesaid on the twenty fifth day of November in the twenty ninth year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland king Defender of the Faith Etc

sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the king when how and in what manner the said Ann Wittingham< no role > came to her
death say upon their oath that the said Ann Wittingham< no role > an the twenty third day of November in the twenty ninth year aforesaid
being in a certain Chamber on the second floor in the Dwellinghouse of oneWittingham situate and being in the parish
and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid and not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted violently
and forcibly did cast and throw herself four and out of the window of the said Chamber into certain open place there called Staining
Lane and wand against the stone pavement there Giving to herself then and there by the the means aforesaid one mortal wound and fracture in
and upon the Scull of her the said Ann Wittingham< no role > Of which said mortal wound and fracture she said Ann Wittingham< no role > did then and
there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that the said Ann Wittingham not being of sound mind memory and
understanding but lunatic and distracted in manner and by the means aforesaid did kill herself In Witness whereof well the said Coroner
as the said Thomas Warwick< no role > the Foreman of the said Jurors our behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this
Inquisition set their hands and seals the day year and place first above written.
