<p n="3088">Signed the Poor Rate for the fourth Quarter.</p>
<p n="3089">Resolved that this Parish to join St. Andrews Holborn in opposing a Bill<lb></lb>
which the Law Societies are said to be carrying into Parliament to exempt<lb></lb>
themselves from Payment of the Rates for relief of that Parish and this.</p>
<p n="3090">The General Sense of the Gentlemen present was greatly against a Rate to be made<lb></lb>
on them by Authority of Parliament to make a Suitable Provision for the Rector<lb></lb>
of this Parish but they almost unanimoulsly Agree'd that a proper Provision<lb></lb>
ought to be made for him and that they would willingly contribute towards such<lb></lb>
Provision for him by half yearly Payments according to the following Place<lb></lb>
of these Sums Vizt.</p>
