<p n="10">This Committee having taken in Considn.<lb></lb>
the Estimate made by the Surveyor for removing<lb></lb>
both Prisons under the Hall and to take in<lb></lb>
two Houses at the North Side of the same next<lb></lb>
Tudor Street to be Converted into Workshops<lb></lb>
the Expence whereof according to such Estimate<lb></lb>
amounts to 1000 are of Opinion that if the<lb></lb>
whole Expence wod. not exceed that Sum Yet<lb></lb>
that removing the Prisons to so Close low &<lb></lb>
Confined a situation would be Attended (exclusive<lb></lb>
of the expence)with great danger & inconvenience<lb></lb>
as the Stench of the Prisoners especially in the<lb></lb>
Summers time would be exceedingly disagreeable<lb></lb>
to the Governors when Assembled on Public<lb></lb>

It is Ordered that the Surveyor do<lb></lb>
consider whether any and what improvement<lb></lb>
may be made in the Mens Prison by taking in<lb></lb>
the lower part of Mr. Cricketts Apartment so as<lb></lb>
to Enlarge the Prison and to make seperate<lb></lb>
Cells that some of the most incorrigible Prisoners<lb></lb>
may be kept seperate with an Estimate of the<lb></lb>
Expence Attending the same.</p>
