Judith Brown proceedingsdefend of the Parish of Stepney , was indicted for stealing 2 Pieces of Poplin Silk, value 3 l. and other Goods out of the Shop of Peter Rickets proceedingsvictim , on the 6th of March last. It appear'd that the Goods lay upon the Counter, and while the Prosecutor's wife was absent, the Prisoner was seen to go into the Shop. The goods being miss'd, Search was made, and she taken with them upon her; and the Jury considering the Prosecutor had then again, found her guilty only to the Value of 4 s. 10 d.
