John Giles proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields , was indicted for stealing a Firkin of Butter out of the Shop of Samuel Slater proceedingsvictim , on the 7th instant. The Prosecutor swore, That being in a back Room, he saw the Prisoner take the Firkin and go away with it; and pursuing, took it upon him. He had nothing to say in his Defence, and was found Guilty to the Value of 10 d.
