| Examination Text | Jane Holmes aged 28 Years upon her Was saith that she is the wife of James Holmes (gone to Sea) to she was Married that St Martins Church November 13th 1786 that her said Husband was Known Apprentice by the Officers of Saint Luke Chelsea by Indenture becoming Date the 28th Day of September 1778 to William Noble of Leg Alley long Acre in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields Peruke Maker & Hair dresser utility should attain the Age of 21 Years & they are served her said Master the whole all the said Time out since which she never rented Ten Pounds by the Year nor did any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that she hath one Child by her said Husband to wit Mary born October 22d 1790.
