assembled in Vestry put by the Churchwarden
regard to Elizth. Coman< no role > as had been with Respect
to the other Examinants-Vizt. & Whether she
duly qualified to have been nominated and put
the almshouses of this Parish or not? and Resolved
she was not duly qualified

Mr. Bird then moved and was secondd. by Mr. Rust
as Elizabeth Coman had been so long in the Almshouse
should be continued these, and the Question being put
whether she should be continued or not? it was carried
Affirmative Nem: Con:

The Examination of Sarah Braithwaite< no role > was read, as f [..]
That she was married to Benjamin Braithwaite< no role >
late husband at may fair that she lived with [..]
said Husband in a House in Portugal Street
this Parish for about Fifteen Years that her said
Husband being dead and this Examinant a
Widow she this Examinant was put into the
Alms house of this Parish by Mr. Wingrove at
Instance and by the Recommendation of Mr.
Rainforth and that she went directly from
House in Portugal Street aforesaid to the Alms house
without ever having Rented any other House [..]
living elsewhere and that she is now Sixty seven
Years of Age

The Examination being read and d [..]
considered-the Churchwarden by the re [..]
of several of the Inhabitants put the qu [..]
whether the said Sarah Braithwaite< no role >
was upon the several facts appearing in his
Examination aforesaid duly qualified to have
nominated and put into the Almshouses of
Parish or not?and it was thereafter
resolved nem: con: that she was so duly qualified
