A Motion made by Mr. Bird and Seconded by Mr. Wilmot
and the Question put whether a Vestry be called on Tuesday
next at Six o'Clock in the Evening to consider of an application
to Parliament for an Amendment of the Act for Establishing
a regular and nightly Watch and for maintaining
regulating and employing the Poor within this Parish

Ordered that the said Vestry be called pursuant to the above
Motion to take the said Application into Consideration
Memorandum
On Saturday the 6th, of December 1766,
the Great Vault of this Parish Church was discovered to be on Fire,
And as the above Vestry could not be called without Notice
being first given in the Church for that purpose, the Church
Wardens postponed the calling said Vestry, till the Church
was in order to have Service performed therein.
