There being the Sum of £4..17..9 charged in the Overs
Account of this Month for the Expences of the Overs
and their assistants visiting the poor under the care
of Mr. Cope at Bethnal Green which this Vestry
apprehends will be an ill precedent to future
Overseers

A Motion was made and the Question
put that if at any time hereafter the Overseers shall
Visit the Poor under the care of Mr. Cope or any ot [..]
Person they do not Exceed in their Expences on the
Account of the Parish the Sum of Two Guineas

Ordered that if at any time hereafter the Overseers
shall Visit the Poor under the care of Mr. Cope or
any other Person they do not Exceed in their
Expences on Account of the Parish the Sum of
Two Guineas

Churchwardens for the time being to let the
Appartment Under the Charity School to Such
persons as they thought proper

Resolved Nemine contradicente that it be recommend
to the Churchwardens to let the said Appartment as
they shall see most for the benefit of this parish

A prosecution having been already
begun by some of the Inhabitants of this parish
against Ann Godfrey< no role > ats Killinger< no role > for keeping
a disorderly house the Back of St. Clements
