Vestry met pursuant to Notice given in the Church
on Sunday last to take the Opinion of the Inhabitants
whether they will join the rest of the Parishes in the
City and Liberty of Westminster
in opposing several
Clauses in a Bill now depending in Parliament to
enlarge the Powers of the Commissioners for paving
cleansing and lighting the Streets &c, which they
think will be very expensive to the Inhabitants of
the said City and Liberty unless they are altered
and for the Repairing or Rebuilding Strand Bridge
