Men appointed at a General Sessions of the Peace
holden on the Seventh day of December Instant to be
Raised by the Parish of Saint Clement Danes the Inns.
of Court New Inn, Lyons Inns, Clements Inn
, and the
Precinct of the Savoy
for the Service of the Army in
pursuance of an Act Intituled "An Act for
Raising a certian Number of Men in the several
Counties of England for the Service of his Majesty
Army and Navy.
Resolved that the following Gents be added
to the Committee already appointed.
Mr. Brooks
Mr. Meyars
of the
Savoy
Mr. Rosier
Mr. Essex
and that the Committee be empowered to go as
far as 25 Guineas per Man.
Moved that the Overseers have the Consent
of Vestry to Apply the Money received as Militia
Subscriptions towards paying the Volunteers &c
to be Raised and that they Repay Themselves such
Sums as shall be advanced by the Rate diercted
by the Act to be made for defraying the Charges of
raising such Men.
