Ordered that the Rate on the several Inhabitants of the West
side of St. Clement's Church Yard
be reduced to 1d. in the Pound.
The Committee having taken into Consideration the Commrs.
Order of referrence of the 14th. of February last relative to the Carriage and
Footways of Great Shire Lane
being out of Repair which upon Examination
this Committee find to be true and that the same is greatly in want of No
Paving and it is this Committee's opinion that the Carriageway thereof
Should be Paved with Pebbles - And this Committee find that one half
of such Lane is within the Liberty of the Rolls
and the other within
this Parish and that the Poor Rate for that part in the Rolls Liberty
Amounts (as this Committee are informed) to £30:3s:0d per Annum and
for that part in this Parish to £30:12s:0d per Annum and therefore and
the Circumstances aforesaid this Committee referr the same to the said
Commissioners.

Ordered, That the Surveyor do fix up two posts where Necessary
at the Corner of all the Optional Streets and Places to prevent accidents
from Coaches, and other Carriages, and that it be recommended to the
several Committees to do the same in the respective Streets and places in the
several Parishes.
Took into Consideration the Minutes of the Commee for the
Parish of St. Clement Danes
dated the 21st. Febry last and delivered in the
25th. respecting the New Paving of so much of Sheffield Street as lies in the
Parish and also Holles Street and the Returns.
Ordered that so much of the above Minutes as relates to Sheffield
Street be referred to the Committee for the Parishes of St. Giles & St. George Blooms
it appearing that part of that Street lies in the said Parish of St. Giles
and the
the Committees for both the said parishes be desired to transmitt to the Commrs: on
