November 19th- 1771
It being represented to the Commissioners that several of
the Crossings Paved with Purbeck Squares in the Streets and Places
within the several Parishes in this Commission are out of Repair
and that it will be more beneficial to the Public if they were
Repaired with the Purbeck Squares belonging to the Commissioners
It was therefore Ordered that the Commissioners do deliver
out a sufficient Quantity of such Stones to the several
Committees of the several Parishes where such Crossings are,
as shall appear to him to be necessary for those purposes
Resolved that it is the Opinion of the Commissioners that the
Granting of Licences for the Erection of Hoards is in their Surveyor
only

Ordered that the Committee for the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes be acquainted that the Lamp Lighters Bills for that
Parish for the half Year ending at Michaelmas last are
delivered in amounting to £74..13s:9d And that the Committee
be desired to pay into the hands of the Commrs- Treasurer
so much money as will discharge such Bill unless the
Committee have any Cause to shew to the contrary
