The Clerk having laid before this Committee the Order of he Commrs.
paving Westminster
Etc of the 17th. Inst. to Contract for Lamp Irons and Lamp
to be lighted therein And also for Cleaning the Streets Lanes Courts and other
places in this Parish It is Ordered that the Clerk do forthwith Cause an
Advertizement to the following Effect be Incerted in the Daily Advertizer
Saint Clement Danes
The Committee for paving Cleansing and Lighting the said Parish do give
Notice that they will meet in the Vestry Room of the said Parish on Thursday
the thirteenth Day of June next at 3 o'..Clock in the Afternoon to receive proper
and Contract for making and fixing up a Number of Lamp Irons not Exceeding
312 And also for Lighting the like Number of Globelar Lamps with two Burners
from Sun Set to Sunrising (in Manner as the Commissioners Lamps are now
Lighted) for two years and one Quarter from Midsummer 1771 until Much as 177 [..]
And also to Receive proposals And to Contract for Cleaning the Several Streets Lanes
Courts and other places in the said Parish once a Week (Except such parts thereof
as are Already paved under the Optinal Clause) with or without Covered Coats
for three Years from Midsummer 1771 to Midsummer 1774
The Contractors to give Security for the Due performance of their Contractor
And all proposals to be Delivered Sealed up at the time and place above
Mentioned.
