having Severally requested to be
Appointed Supervisor to this Committee It was Unanimously Agreed to Ballet for
such Office And the same being Accordingly taken It appeared that there were for Mr.
Higley five and for Mr. Banister Seven Whereupon the said Mr. Banister was Declared
Duly Elected
It is Ordered that in all Questions or Election of Officers It be a Standing Rule
that the Chairman have a Vote in the first Instance And in Case the Numbers shall be
Equal that he have a Casting Vote
It is also Ordered that before any Street Court passage Etc shall be Recommended
by the Committee to the Commissioners for paving the same That a Committee
Man of the Ward in which such Street Court passage Etc shall be Situate together
with two or more Committee Men And the Supervisor shall View the premes And
report to the Committee the Length, Breadth, Number of Yards, kind of pavement,
Number of Lamps proposed, poors Rate, And all other Necessarys for forming
a Judgement thereon for which purpose It is Ordered that Mr. Kitchiner Mr.
Rainforth and Mr. Kennett do take a Survey of the Savoy
Ward
And that Mr. Kennett Mr. Roberts Mr. Ireland & Mr Dewsberry do take a Survey
of the Royal Ward
And that Mr. Jones Mr. Marr Mr. Seager and Mr. Sumner do take a Survey
of the Middle and Church Wards
And that Mr. Seager Mr. Warcup and Mr. Jones do take a Survey of Temple
Bar Ward And that Mr. Warcup Mr. Weatherstone and Mr. Sumner do take a
Survey of Shire Lane Ward And that Mr. Rainforth Mr. Kitchiner and Mr. Price do
take a Survey of Holywell Ward And that Mr. Small wood Mr. Kennett and Mr.
Dewsberry Do take a Survey of Drury Lane Ward
Ordered that the Supervisor Attend the said Several Surveys
and that he Request Mr. Meredith the Paviour to Attend the same
Adjourned to Fryday next at 6 o Clock
