to wit Merciea Chambers< no role > aged about 19 years upon
her Oath saith that she never was married Rented House
Tenement or Lodging of £10 a year paid Taxes lived a
hired yearly Servant for one year or Served any Appceship
that she was bornatin Trinity Parish in the City of
Ely in the Isle of Ely that she has done no Act to gain
a Settlement alias than by Birth And further the
Ext. upon her Voluntary Oath saith that she is
pregnant with Child or Children which is or are like
to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable
to the Parish of St. Clement Danes That one William
Smith
< no role > Clerk to Mr. Drummond the Barker who
lodges at Dr. Reynolds at Charing Cross is the father
thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of this Ext.
Body sometime in the Month of Septr. last and at [..]
One other time since at one of which times he did
beget the said Child or Children of which she is now
pregnant and that the said William Smith< no role > is [..]
only real & true father thereof
