Elizabeth Calvert< no role > aged upwards of 22 Years
upon Oath says she never was Married and that she
lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Dawson Linnen
draper in Clare Street in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westmr. for two Years and upwards
at the Yearly Wages of £5 for the first year and
£6 a year afterwards, quitted said Service about
two Years and hath not since Rented House paid
Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one Year
And further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is
pregnant with Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to
become chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clement
Danes she being poor and unable to maintain
the same when born; & that Thomas Young< no role > late
a Servant to Mrs. Willoughby at Knightsbridge
did beget the said bastard Child or Children on her
Body, he having had carnal knowledge of her body
in the Month of December last and at several
other times since at one of which times he got her
with Child of the Child or Children with which
she is now pregnant & that the said Thos. Young< no role >
& no other person did beget the same
