Elizabeth Scuttle< no role > aged about 39 Years upon
Oath says she is the Widow of Thomas Scuttle< no role > who has
been dead about Ten Years says her said husband hath
often times informed her and which information she
verily believes to be true that he was bound Apprentice
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of St. Andrew Holborn London to Thomas
Smith
< no role > a Chimney sweeper and served his said
Apprenticeship with the said Thomas Smith< no role > in the
Coal Yard in Holborn in the Parish of St. Giles in
the fields in the County of Middx and lived as a
Yearly Servant with his said Master in the Coal Yard aforesaid for three Years
after his said Apprenticeship expired, and then
intermarried with this Examinant, says her said
husband in his life time nor she since his Death
never Rented house or paid Taxes.
