parish of St. Paul Covent Garden in the Liberty of
Westminster by Order dated the 28th. of Decemr. 1761
upon Oath saith she never was Married or bound an
Apprentice That she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
Mr. Butler a Taylor in Stanhope Street in the parish
of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster &
County of Middx for Two years at the yearly Wages
of Four Pounds Quitted the Same about five Months
and hath not since rented any House or paid Land
Tax or Poor Rate And further upon her Voluntary
Oath says she is now pregnant with Child or Children
which is likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards and
to become Chargeable to the said parish of St. Clement
Danes she being poor and unable to Maintain the
Same when Born And that one Geo: Pulley< no role > a
Journeyman Perukemaker who is to be found at a
Picture Shop next the Kings head Tavern in Fleet
Street London did beget such Child or Children he
having had carnal Knowledge of her Body on the
13th. day of May 1761 and once afterwards at one of
which times he got her with Child of the Child or
Children with which she is now pregnant
