Sarah Akhurst< no role > This name instance is in set 4621753. aged about 24 Years
upon Oath says she never was married and that she lived
a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Largeau a Peruke
maker in Devereux Court in the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middx. for one Year and Ten
Months at the Yearly Wages of four Pounds for the
first Year and five Pounds for the last Ten Months
and hath quitted said Service about Two Months
And further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is
pregnant with Child or Children which is likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable
to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes she being
Poor and unable to maintain the same when born
Says that one George Lee< no role > This name instance is in set 2038. (footman to Mr. Cartwright who
lodges at Millers Warehouse in Tavistock Street near
Covent Garden ) had Carnal knowledge of her Body
Sometime towards the Latter end at April 1759. and
at sevl. other times since at one of which times he got
her with Child of the Child or Children with which she
is now pregnant And that the said George Lee< no role > and no
other Person is the true and real father thereof.
