Geo: Cross< no role > aged abt. 21 Years upon Oath
says he was bound Apprentice for Seven Years
to one Mr. Horne of Silver Street Bloomsbury
Perukemaker and served him about four Years &
a half the first part of his Apprenticeship and then
was Assigned over to One Mr. Dixon of Bow Lane
in the Parish of St. Thomas the Apostle in the City
of London Perukemaker [..] whom he served abt.
one Year & a half says he then went from Mr. Dixon
to Work with one Mr. Crutwell a Perukemaker at
Hampstead in the Parish of Hampstead in the
County of Middx. with whom he worked One Year or
thereabouts says after he had lived with said Mr. Crutwell
abt. three Months (his first Master) Mr. Horne came and demanded
his Wages, and that he this Examinant paid him
One Pound and Sixteen Shillings of lawful Money
of Great Britain. says he never Rented Ten
Pounds a Year or paid Parish Taxes
