Elizabeth Harley< no role > aged about 22 years upon Oath says
that She Intermarryed with Alexander Harley< no role > (who is now a
Marine in his Majesty's Service) the 22d. Octr. 1748 Says that
her said Husband was born at Sea, That his Father was a
Scotchman & his Mother an Irishwoman and never gained any Settlement in England to this Examinant's knowledge or belief and that her said
Husband never was an Apprentice or yearly Servant nor Rented £10 by the Year
to this Examinant's knowledge or belief
Says that She hath one Child by him namely Alexander Harley< no role > aged
10 Weeks That She never was an Apprentice or Yearly Servant
whilst a Singlewoman Says that her Father John Mann< no role > Rented a House in
Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of St. Martin in
the Fields in the Liberty of Westminster of the Yearly Rent
of £16. and lived therein about a year & half and Quitted
the same about 21 years as her sd. Father has informed
her & as She verily believes
