to wit Elizabeth Yarwood< no role > Aged about Eighteen Years on
her Oath Says she never was married Rented House or
paid Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
Mr. Jaques at the Spotted Dog in Holywell Street in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr .
for Eighteen Months at the Yearly Wages of Six pounds
hath quitted her said Service upwards of Eighteen
Months ago since which time she hath gained no other
Subsequent Settlement And further upon her Voluntary
Oath Says that on the 2d. day of April Instant she was
delivered of a Female Bastard Child in the Work house
belonging to the said Parish which hath since been
Baptized by the Name of Martha< no role > and is now Chargable
to the said Parish and likely to Continue so she being Poor
and unable to maintain the same And further says that
one William Harby< no role > a Hair worker in Essex Street in
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
is the Father thereof he having had Carnal knowledge of
her Body at his the sd. Mr. Harbys House the begining of
August last and at one other time afterwards at one of
which times she got her with Child of the Female Bastard
Child of which she was so delivered as aforesaid and that
the said William Harby< no role > & no other person did beget the
same and that he is the real & two Father thereof
