to wit Sarah Stone< no role > Aged about Twenty Seven
Years On her Oath Says she never was married Rented
House or paid Taxes Says she lived as a Covenanted
Servant to learn the Business of a Book binder with
one William Morless< no role > a Book binder in Bear Alley
in the little Old Bailey in the Parish of St. Sepulchre
London for three Years and after she was out of her
time she never Rented House paid Taxes or lived a hired
Yearly Servant for one Year And further says that on
the 23d. day of December last she was delivered of
Two Bastard Children in the House of one Mr. Gregory
in Change Court Saint Clement Danes which area
intended to be called John< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > And that
one John Smelly< no role > a Journeyman Book binder and
who now lived at Mr. Bells a Bookseller in the Strand
is the Father of the said Children And that this
Examinant hath gained no other Settlement than
as aforesaid
