John Rofe< no role > Aged about forty two Years on his Oath Says he
was bound an Apprentice to & Served Seven Years Apprenticeship
with One Wm Jabes< no role > a Sawyer in Alphabet Court Stanhope Street
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the liberty of Westminster
and soon after he was out of his said Apprenticeship he Intermarried
with Elizabeth< no role > his now wife at St John Chappel in the Precinct
of the Savoy in the Year 1755 and by whom he hath three
Children now Living Namely John< no role > Aged about Eighteen Years (now
Provided for) Pellajah< no role > aged about Seven Years & Wm George< no role >
Aged aboutNineTen Months says about Seven Years ago he went
and resided in the Parish of St Mary Le Bone otherwise Mary bone
and rented a Part of a Sawyers Yard thereof One Isaac Newton< no role > a Carpenter
at the Yearly Rent of fourteen Pounds for five Months or thereabouts
Payable Quarterly And also Rented Appartments in the house
of Mr Gwadkinsin Castle Street in the said Parish of
St Mary Le Bone for Three Months at the Yearly Rent of Eight Pounds
And Quitted the same about Seven Years ago since which time he
never Rented House paid Taxes or otherwise Gained any
Subsequent Settlement
