Jno. Metz< no role > upon his Oath saith he intermarried with
Catherine< no role > his Wife upwds. of 9 Yrs. since at the Parish
Church of St. Andrew Holborn Londn . and has by her
one Child namely Joseph< no role > aged 8 Yrs. Says he was bound
Apprentice for Seven Years to Rd. Delafanche< no role > Peruke
maker and Served the first four Years of his sd.
Apprentiship with the sd. Mr Delafanche in Fleet
Street in the Parish of St. Dunstan in the West Londn.
and then his P. Master broke and absconded and this Examinants
father agreed with Mr Hacket of Newcastle Court
St. Clemt. Danes Perukemaker for this Examinant
to Serve out the Remainder of his Apprentiship
with him & this Examinant did accordingly Serve
the remaining three Years of his time with the
sd. Mr Hacket in Newcastle Court aforesd. &
Hacket provided him Lodging Dyet & Apparel
during his sd. Service but his first master
Delafanche was not any ways Privy to the
Agreemt. between Mr. Hacket & his father nor
did he (to this Examinants beleif) know of his
living there Says he never rented Ten pounds
a Year paid Parish taxes lived a Yearly
