Middlesex

(to wit) Ann Mitchell< no role > aged 30 Years
or thereabouts upon her Oath saith that
she was married to Walter Mitchell< no role > at the
Parish Church of Saint Margaret Westmr in the County of Middlesex
about two Years and an half ago that
before her the does not know any Settlement
the said Walter Mitchell< no role > ever gained
nor where he was born
that he has deserted her there two Years
and she does not know where he is gone
that whilst she was a singlewoman
she lived as an hired Yearly Servant
with Mr. Berry at the Queen Head
Tavern the Corner of Grays Iron in
Holborn at the Yearly Wages of seven
pounds for about two Years this
since in thing the same she has not
to the best of her Knowledge Information
or belief Done any Act Matter or thing
Whereby she may have gained any
the Settlement-and that
the this Examinant is poor
and in gave as Distress and unable
to maintain herself having a
Young Child to Fachalr and
