to wit Elizabeth Box< no role > aged about 21 years upon her Oath
saith that she never was married Rented House or paid
Taxes says she lived as a hired yearly Servant with one
Mr. Baxter in Arrundell Street in the Parish of St.
Clement Danes for 18 months at the yearly Wages of
Five Pounds hath quitted said Service about two years
ago since which time she has done no Act Matter
or thing whereby to the best of her Knowledge
Information or belief she may have gained a
Settlement elsewhere Says that she has one Child
living named Charlotte Horton< no role > aged 17 Months or
thereabouts born a Bastard in the House of a Mr.
Blencow No. 8 Ratcliff Mount in the Parish of Saint
Luke Old Street in the County of Middx , And further
says that her said Child never gained any other
Settlement than by Birth And this Examinant
further saith That she has hired herself as
a yearly Servant to a Baker opposite
Barnhill Row in Chiswell Street with whom
she is to go to live tomorrow night [..] that
her said Child has been Christned by the Name
of Charlotte Hoghton< no role > , is weaned and that she
this Examinant wishes to leave same to
the Care of the Parish that she may
